Many Christians believe in the universal, invisible Church. Your assignment is to write a 1,000-word essay making a biblical argument that the Church is a local, visible assembly of believers. Students are allowed to disagree with GBBC’s view on the church, but we want them to demonstrate that they understand and communicate the position that Baptists hold that the Church is a local, visible assembly of called out believers. Feel free to review Basic Bible Doctrine 3 as that course covered the Doctrine of the Church. Use scripture to support your points but remember that Bible verses do NOT count towards the total word count of the essay.
