Is Global Baptist Bible College Accredited?

Global Baptist Bible College's curriculum is a 3-year course of study for students based outside the USA. At the end, students will earn a “Bachelor of Biblical Studies” degree. This degree is backed by Fargo Baptist Church and our sister school, Master’s Baptist College, an in-person tuition-free Bible college in Fargo, North Dakota, USA. Both Global Baptist Bible College and Master’s Baptist College are ministries of Fargo Baptist Church in Fargo, North Dakota, USA.

We are often asked if this degree is recognized internationally. There is no easy answer to that question, and reply, “it depends”. There are several accrediting agencies, and some countries may accept one but not others. There is no “standard” accrediting agency that every country accepts. It is a very long and expensive process. It can take years and well over $100,000 U.S. to get accredited from even one agency.

While certain governments may require a degree to be a pastor, we strongly believe that it is up to your own local church whether they would accept our curriculum or not. Fargo Baptist Church does accept GBBC’s curriculum as sufficient to prepare men for the ministry. It is very similar to the training they teach at their in-person Bible College, Master’s Baptist College.
